Great Strides!

Guess what?? I just registered Olivia's Outlaws for the walk!! It will be May 15, 2010. Come join my team, walk with us and help us raise money for the cure for CF!!

Yesterday, Chris and I went for a scenic drive to wherever. We ended up in Sweetwater, TN and found this neat little place that makes all their own yummy cheeses. Olivia was asleep for most of the time we walked around, but she woke up for the photo opportunity.

Halloween

Lucy's Mom just asked if I had mentioned what Olivia is going to be for Halloween this year. I would like you all to share in my disappointment-she was going to be Shirley Temple. Can you imagine a more perfect costume for Olivia? I was going to get her one of those giant snail-shell type lollipops. You know, "Good Ship Lollipop", get it?

Alas, I was unable to find a dress so we actually just bought her costume at the store. She will be a lion-she loves to say "Roar!". Oh well, it's just one day...

Wednesday in the park~

On Wednesday, Olivia and I were getting a little stir-crazy so we took a quick jaunt to the park.

But first, she needed food and the only way I could get her to eat her banana....was to put Reddi Whip on each individual slice.

Oink oink! Updated

Olivia has Swine Flu. She was exposed to it last week at daycare so her CF doctor put her on a precautionary dose of Tamiflu-thank goodness because so far it's kept her out of the thick of it.

Other than the huge amounts of thick, green snot oozing from her nose, she's completely fine-it does have her snorting a bit though. =)

She has now been put on a full dose of Tamiflu (along with mommy and daddy) and Augmentin to help with the snot. Also, they have increased her breathing/vest treatments to 3 times a day.

I will keep you posted if there are any changes.

I also want to thank Ronnie for mentioning the website CFvoice because it is awesome!! It has some really tasty looking recipes for me to cook for Olivia. I'm sure Chris will gobble them up because he can and does eat anything!! Hop on over and surf around!
