She's got a way about her, I don't know what it is, but I know that I can't live without her

She's got a way of pleasin', I don't know what it is, but there doesn't have to be a reason anywhere

She's got a smile that heals me, I don't know why it is, But I have to laugh when she reveals me

She's got a way of talkin', I don't know why it is, But it lifts me up when we are walkin' anywhere

She comes to me when I'm feelin' down - Inspires me without a sound - She touches me and I get turned around

She's got a way of showin' how I make her feel and I found the strength to keep on goin'

She's got a light around her and everywhere she goes a million dreams of love surround her everywhere

She's got a smile that heals me, oh I don't know why it is, but I have to laugh when she reveals me anyway

CF in the NY Times and other big news!!

There's an article about Cystic Fibrosis in the NY Times!!! It's titled A Brighter Outlook for Cystic Fibrosis Patients. It's awesome that CF is more in the news now - there's no better way for all our loved ones to get the cure that they deserve!

In other news....this is my 200th post!!! Yay me!!

Knitters please?

I was on Knitty and fell in love with this little dress for Olivia. Alas, I am not good at knitting things with multiple colors (unless it's stripes or borders). The pattern is simple and would be a snap for any good knitter, like I said I can't knit a pattern in different colors. I would supply the yarn...does anyone want to knit it for Olivia - size 18-24 months -(for me).

More cute patterns:
Here's a cute cardigan that Olivia would look cute in for the Fall that's WAY out of my league!
Here's an adorable sweater for the Fall with ties in the front.
Here's a cute Tank that has smocking, which is something else I can't do.
Another cute tank that I could actually manage!

Updates about Kayleigh and Stellan

Kayleigh's page has been updated. There are changes to her health...I'm not sure if they are good changes, but they don't seem worse (to me at least).

Stellan seems to be doing quite well since his ablation surgery. He is having an esophageal study done right now to see if they see if Stellan's heart still has the capacity to go into SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia: the arrhythmia Stellan suffered from, causing dangerously high heart rates).

Please keep praying for them both!!

Too many cute ones to choose!!!

I was outside taking pictures of beautiful Olivia and I just couldn't decide which ones to share so I created an album for you to peruse...here.

I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

This time last year...

Here a short video taken with my cell phone from exactly one year ago. I can't believe how much she has changed.

Olivia is ready for Great Strides!!

Up till now, Olivia has only take a few steps and then fallen and so on...
She is now officially a WALKER!!!

Programs that I must have for my iMac...

I was looking at the apple website, wondering what was available like Photoshop for me to do neat stuff..

Look at these...

Comic Life Deluxe Edition only $29.95!!! I will be buying this one.

I'm a little curious about this one...Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for $89.95. I wonder if it's like normal basic Photoshop?

And last, but not least....Aperture 2 for $199.00.

Has anyone used any of these products?

A GREAT weekend for Cara and Patrick.

Cara, I'm so happy for you and Patrick (and Shiner)!!  This video is great - I cried when I watched it.  I can't imagine not seeing Chris for 7.5 months!

We Have a Tooth!!

FINALLY!!!

It's still little, but it's there!  You probably have to click on the picture (to enlarge it) to see the tooth.

This morning's cuteness...

Get Your Motor Runnin'.....

My mom (aka Nana Claus) bought Olivia a battery-powered Barbie Lil Quad ATV.  I'm must say that I'm a little concerned with the daredevil-side that's coming out of my darling Tooters (she gets it from her father)!  She has figured out how to ride it while pushing the "Go" button with her butt, foot, back, you name it.  She hasn't fallen off...yet...

We don't have a helmet yet so she hasn't been allowed outside with it.

My Little Cowgirl

I will be making Olivia's Outlaws Great Strides shirts this weekend and even though Angela took beautiful photos of Olivia, they just didn't seem "western" enough. I took these pictures of her last night and think they came out pretty darn cute. Before I get any comments, it is just a cap gun and Chris is holding her on the horse so she won't fall off.

Okay, these are my favorite two pictures.

This is the picture that will be on the shirt. My friend, Janis, will be attempting Photoshop to make the background black and white and Olivia will be left in color. I believe this will be her first "project" in Photoshop, so keep your fingers crossed. She just told me that if any of my wonderful Blog Friends (Christy @ Color Me Healthy - I love you) want to do it for me, have at it!
If you could see her eyes more, this is the one I would use for the shirt. As it is, being from Texas, I LOVE this picture!!
