Hoo-Ray for Dollywood

My mom got us season passes to Dollywood this year for Christmas.  Dollywood is East Tennessee's version of a theme park.  Dolly Parton is from Sevierville and is huge in these parts.  I would recommend going to see it at Christmas - I don't know who puts the lights on the trees and buildings, but it is amazing!!!

We went on December 23rd and the warmest it was while we were there was 36 degrees (before windchill).

Olivia wanted to stop and watch some gentlemen playing music.  She was especially interested in the banjo - Papa would have been proud.

And we're off to see the next thing...

I can't remember what this sandwich was called, but it sure smelled tasty.  We opted to sit indoors and warm up while eating.

Olivia was fascinated by this train

Until they tooted the (incredibly loud) horn and scared the heck out of her.

Here is my little princess taking an enormous bite of chocolate pudding.

We decided to follow suit

Then she wanted to take another bite to be silly like Mommy and Daddy.

Now it's about 30 degrees and she has a full belly so she's a little worn out.

This is one of the many Christmas trees around the park.

Once it was around 26 degrees, we decided to buy a blanket and make her into a burrito to keep her warm.  We had such a great time and can't wait to go back once it warms up a tiny bit - although Olivia is already asking to go back.
